Convert Query SQL to VBA

Soon I will be moving into the next level of Richard's training, Advanced.  VBA is something I see as a great advantage but am still working to understand it.  I just viewed Richards Convert Query to VBA Code Tech Help.  Wow what a tool!  I have a database that has a too many queries that are used by Reports executed by buttons.  Im still confused on how to use the VBA code generated by the tool in a button that will run a report using the VBA code generated.  Hopefully this is a quick answer.

This is me personally speaking here so know that I'm not talking on behalf of Richard or the other guys.

Don't over think VBA.  It isn't mystical or magic.  Think of it more along the lines of learning Spanish or French.
VBA is the "language" that you are communicating with your database in order to manage it to do certain tasks or activities.

Another way of thinking about it is you are writing out a set of instructions for how to accomplish something.
You use the example of a button but there really isn't anything special about a button.  It is just a picture really that we attach some of those instructions to.  We are telling the computer, " OK, when I click this picture with my mouse I want you to do the instructions A, B, and C.  If I click on that other picture over there I want 1, 2, 3 to be performed."

Again, this is me personally but once you finish the Expert I would consider moving to the Access SQL Seminars Part 1 & 2 (Leave 3 for down the road).  From there go right to the Developer courses.
Don't get me wrong, the Advanced courses are great but are about using Macros primarily.  I found it a PITA to start converting my macros over to VBA or SQL as I grew in my learning.  I regularly reference the Expert, SQL, and Developer videos (over and over).  I pretty much never go back and re-watch any of the Advanced.

I hope that helps.  I'll be interested in reading others opinions.

Thanks Scott. I will do that when I finish the last three Experts.  I was hoping to get a idea on how to use the VBA code generated from the SQL, attach it to a button that uses the VBA to open a Report.
