Return without GoSub
Michelle Mayo

I have buttons at the top of my employee database form.  The buttons are for other forms that I've created and coincide with the employee.

For example, I have the main employee form and then I have contact form, computer accesses form, etc.
Each of those forms are a button on the main employee form.

The buttons worked for a while, but now I keep getting a Return without GoSub error.
Next screen shows "Macro Single Step" with an error of 2950.

I have re-created the button and it works again, but only for a little while.

How can I fix this?
How do I create a button using VBA? (very, very green with VBA)

The code to open a form is pretty straight forward.

DoCmd.OpenForm "NameOfForm", , , "EmployeeID=" & EmployeeID

A quick google search returns the following results for the error 2950.

"The error 2950 occurs when you try to launch a database that MS Access does not trust. As a result, the executable content is disabled by default, preventing macro execution. In addition, there are several reasons that may lead to the error 2950, such as: Missing system files.Nov 11, 2022"

Where ever you have your database.  Did you watch the linked video?

I didn't realize that was a link. I watched video and was able to save to a trusted location!
Thank you both for your help! :)
