I have a table with duplicate customers (e.g. 4 customers a,b,c,d in 8 records)[below pic]. How can I normalize it into one table with 4 records/customers with combined phone field [below pic] ?
ps. the table is just an example , I have a real table with many duplicate customers like this

I recommend looking into the ABCD  or if you don't wish to go all out try the DLookUpPlus function I like the ABCD better as it works real good with a 1 customer to many phone numbers.  but it all depends on what you want as a final product.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I am interpreting your question differently.  My understanding is you are asking how to detect and / or combine duplicated records.  Correct?

If that is the case, Richard has produced a number of videos dealing with the subject.  Here are just few:

Find Duplicates
Highlight Duplicates
Warn But Allow
Prevent Duplicates

To see more go to the index -
Microsoft Access Outlines
and type CTRL-F  search for "Duplicate"
