Hide or Prevent Access Warning
Donald Lader

I have moved my database to cloud-based virtual machines to enable my associates to use the database from anywhere easily. My only issue is that when the database first opens, I get the MS Access security warning. I believe that in everything I have seen in these classes and seminars, somewhere, he explained how to stop this. My problem - I cannot locate this anywhere, so maybe it was just a wishful dream. I would be most grateful if anyone can point me to where this lives.  I tried searching, but since I am now here, it did not help. Thank you in advance.

Did you set up a Trusted Location?

Yes, I set a trusted location. I will dive into more tomorrow. I will pass on the actual message I am getting. The message comes up in the middle of the screen, not the warning below the menus.

Ok. An apparent brain freeze here. It was the trusted location issue. Tech support had me move my database to a new location. I forgot to go and change the trusted location. But now I have a question. Since this is the central location for the three VMs, do I need to allow the trusted location to share on the network? I see that as a not recommended option.  Thanks.

You're correct, it's not generally recommended due to potential security issues. However, if you're working with a shared database, it's a necessity to set your trusted folder to a network location. Just ensure your network security is robust to mitigate any risks.
