A little help please

Will someone help me to implement the changes that were made in the Date Control seminar into my databases   I lack the knowledge in how to get the mod in place, and I assume all that I have to do is to copy the proper forms from the sample database

If you know where I might gain the knowledge on this, please let me know also.

Did you watch the Calendar Control Addendum yet?

Watch it clear through with out doing anything.
Make a copy of your db first!  Then watch again - this time follow along starting and stopping as needed.
This is a very old seminar but it should be pretty straight forward process.  I just glanced at the video again and Richard walks you through it pretty thoroughly.

As far as the Access Date Time Picker control goes there is also a video there.  Again Richard shows which files to copy into your db (You don't need it) and he provides two different forms that have examples of what you need to add to your forms.

If this is still beyond you, you might post a message on the Access Developer Network for a paid solution.

Thanks, I did what you told me with good success, but came across another issue a few steps later.
When I have the following in mu code:
Forms!MonthlyCalendarF!Date.BackColor = vbRed
It changes the Date1 to vbRed.  But when I enter the following in my code:
Forms!MonthlyCalendarF(#Date1#).BackColor = vbRed
I get a 'Compile Error   Syntax Error' warning.
It does not allow me to use the (#Date1#) in my code.  Have any suggestions'

Tim -

This  doesn't give me enough to go on.  The compile error is usually a typo.

If you go into the code window and on the menu line click Debug --> Compile.
Take a screen shot of the exact error and also the following screen with the error that is highlighted.

I'm pretty sure you don't need the # in the line Forms!MonthlyCalendarF(#Date1#).BackColor = vbRed

I need to go look at the code myself

Do I use the Snipping tool in Windiws 10 to do a screen shot and if so how to I get this to you?  Sorry I haven't done a screen shot before now'

Yes that would work fine.  ( Windows Key-Shift-S ).
Then open up Paint from your PC.  Ctrl-V to paste it in.

From there you can mark up or annotate it as you want.  Save it to the computer.
Then you can press the Upload below to choose the file from your PC.

I kind of fixed my problem with the code below for days1 thru 6 and 29 thru 42.
        If Month(Forms!MonthlyCalendarF!Datexx) <> Month(Calendar) Then
        Forms!MonthlyCalendarF!Datexx.BackColor = vbRed
    End If
          If Month(Forms!MonthlyCalendarF!Datexx) <> Month(Calendar) Then
        Forms!MonthlyCalendarF!Dayxx.BackColor = &H5C8384
     End If
But I will probably have future issues with it.  Have a nice weekend.

I wanted to say thanks for your help.  I started a new database yesterday and managed to get everything correct as the Calendar Semiar showed.  But I'm still interested in using the Date Picker that I purchased in the Calendar Control Class.  I just would like to know, how I copy that mode into my database.

Correct?
