Delete BAD Data

Hello Richard,
I know you are NOT a fan of deleting data from a table, I get that. But what are you supposed to do when people either entered wrong data or the Accounting Department puts in STUPID Notes to the sales people telling them NOT to use certain accounts?
These notes are in place of Customer Name. On top of that, there are special charactors being used that make things difficult. The Databse has over 45,000 records in it and so far, i have been removing them one at a time. If there is an easier way to do this, could you either remind me which video to watch or mention how to do it.
I will include a screenshot.

From what I have seen over the last three years, I am quite sure that this would really rub you the wrong way.

Thank you.

This is what I see when I Doucle Click one of the records in question. This is quite maddening.
All I am doing is trying to fix a databse record set that is from my companies database. I cant believe the deveoper of that original database would allow datat to be entered in this way. I know you can enter what ever data you want, but why would they do this?
I can see no practical reason for this. Who is at 3300 S 4300 W? What I am doing here is for my own use and will never get back to my company. All I can do is show them error of thier ways.

You either have to tell the data entry people not to do this, or add validation procedures within the Access app, or do both.  This has more to do with business practice issues than technical database issues.  Whoever have the permission to access your sensitive company data and modify them should be considered high-ranking admin type of people, so why aren't they more capable with the job?  And if the data entry people are just lowly employees who aren't qualified, why were they put there to do the job?  Either way, it's about your company's practices -- specifically, assigning the right people to the job, just for starters.  If no one can do the job, take this up with the boss.  The urgent thing for you right now is fixing all the incorrect entries, which you may have to do manually, unfortunately.  But it shouldn't have got to this point in the first place if better business practices had been made.

Thank you for your input on this issue. My company uses an SQL based database that is not Access, but seems to be the standard for the business my company is in. Heavy Trucks. Our old system was based on UNIX and it WAS NOT as forgiving as this new Program is. You had to do everythong precicely or it just wouln't work, period. Yes, you still have to do things a certain way with the new system, but in my opinion, it is too lax for my taste. Just to print a barcode label for example, there are many steps you have to do to get that barcode, and only 1 part number at a tiime, then go back to begining to enter your next number, repeat and so, and so on.....
