Macro commands lock up

I am writing a program with 9 fields.  10 tables, 75 forms, no queries and 2 reports
The programs has lots of VBA code.  It also has Macros.  I use the Macros to go from numerous forms.  I have for example a Macro that loads An Add data screen.  In some cases the macro is correct in yet it does not load that screen.

Sometimes when I am at the Properties sheet (on click).  The "on click does not show up.  None of the tabs (format,Data,Event,& All ) do nothing when clicked.

Anyone know why it doing the above. I thank you for responding.

The other question is after I open a form up.  Should I close the previous one using a Macro.
Anyone out there that can answer either or both questions.  I thank you for responding.
My software is almost finished.  Some more tweaking and it should be ready to compile and split into a ACCDE file and packaging with a windows install program.  I sure hope it sells.  So I break even with the costs incurred thus far.

I Stopped using macros long time ago. If you know VBA, you really should not be using macros anymore.
Check your code for echo off. That can cause the symptoms you are describing.

As for closing forms, most of my applications leave the previous forms open. But in certain applications, you do want to close the previous form. Good example of that would be your login screen. Once you logged in successfully, you want to close that one.

Where do I find this "echo off"  Is it in the property sheet?  under what tab? Thank you for responding Sami

Echo is available in Macros and VBA. If you don't know what it is or where to find it you probably haven't used it.
I would advise against turning Echo off until you are more experienced. If you forget to turn it back on you will lock up Access. I use it very sparingly.
