Form Logic

Hey, I have only downloaded the free encrypted version. I could probably figure out if I bought the template. However, I am curious the reasoning behind the the menu-like form vs. the tasks form. Would you mind explaining why? Was it for the nested/indented list view staying available or more? Appreciate any insight, thanks.

Is there a picture on this page which shows which form(s) you are mentioning?

It's that parent form there in your example image, from the header the "Task List" named form. So I was wondering why this form was separate from the what seems like a main menu, which looks like its header "Task Manager by Access Learning Zone". Seems obvious that the separation gives some form of hierarchal control over the lists, right? Just wasn't sure if maybe the tools and options on the main menu could be incorporated with the task list, but was chosen not to for an obvious reason. I am curious to incorporate the tasking function of this database into a higher resource planning database I have been prototyping for my own organization.

The great thing about Access is they're your LEGO bricks and you can do with them whatever you want.
You can move any button to any form, just copy the code over too.

Okay, thanks Alex. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a practical reason or if it was just dealer's choice. Thanks for the help.
