Major topics in this course include:
  • Slide & Title Masters
  • Background Graphics
  • Fill Effects
  • Charts & Graphs
  • Organization Charts & Other Diagrams

We will begin this class by looking at Slide and Title Masters. These are tools that let us control the look and feel of every slide in the presentation. We'll learn how to place custom backgrounds and images (such as your company logo) in Slide Masters.

We'll talk about slide headers and footers, automatic date codes, slide numbering, footer text, and more. We'll learn how to use multiple Slide Masters to create different looks for our various slides.

Next, we'll learn about Charts and Graphs. We'll learn all of the basics: entering data, inserting and deleting rows and columns, changing the chart features (colors, borders, etc.), 3D views, rotations, etc. We'll also learn how to add notes to our slides (text and arrows, etc.)

Then of course we'll learn about the different types of charts, such as pie charts.

Next we'll learn how to make custom Organization Charts. We'll learn all about adding subordinates, assistants, and co-workers. And of course there are a million options for these too.

Next we'll look at some of the other diagrams, such as Cycle Diagrams.

And finally, we'll see how we can create our own manual diagrams using AutoShapes and Connectors. We'll make a Flowchart.
