Microsoft Access Calculated Query Fields
Performing Math in Query Fields
Q: How can I calculate the product of two values in a
query? For example, I'm figuring out order details, and I need to
multiply the unit cost times the quantity purchased to figure out the
line total.
A: Performing basic math in a
query is a piece of cake. To multiple two fields like you want to do,
just create a new "calculated" field like this:
=LineTotal: UnitPrice * Quantity
