| Microsoft Access 206 and 207 are now finished and online. MYOLP Members may download them right now.
Both classes are also available in the order section for purchase. If you are a previous customer who has free course credits on your account, you will receive an email from us soon with instructions on getting your copy free. If you are not sure whether or not you have free credits, check your account online.
Access 206 and 207 are a "two-part mini series" that deal with Task Management. We create a super-powered "to do" list... a task manager on steroids. You'll learn all kinds of neat tricks, like how to synchronize the records on two open forms, more macro tricks, how to make macros smart with conditionals - otherwise known as an If / Then statement. You'll learn how to put conditionals inside of queries with the IIF() function. You'll also learn some neat form filtering tricks.
Whether or not you want to use these task management features, this course is the last intermediate Access course we're producing for now - the next will be the advanced Access 301, and we'll start learning how to program in VBA. This class has a lot of "pre-VB" material in it which is the last good stepping stone before learning real programming.
Again, if you're serious about learning how to develop quality databases in Access, don't miss this course.
Now, for the rest of you who have been bugging me about Excel, Photoshop, and other courses, make sure you get over to the Online Poll Page and vote. We're going to try to release a few more new courses before the holiday break... so vote for which one you think we should work on next!
Oh - and don't forget to participate in the online forums.
