Sorry for the long time between blog updates. The holiday blitz has been keeping me busy (plus I've been a bit under the weather... and the weather has been crappy here in Buffalo).
Anyhow, I just finished recording the last two courses in the Excel 2007 Basic series: Levels 4 and 5. They'll be online in a few hours for your viewing pleasure.
Plus, my handbook team has sent me a few new books to put online. So that will be joyous as well. :)
As far a the voting for what gets made next, the people have spoken. Here are the results as of right now from the Waiting List.
1. Windows 7 Basics
2. Access 2007 TIED with Advanced Access 2003
3. Advanced Visual Basic 6
Windows 7 is only ahead by a couple of votes. I'm not going to start recording the next class until tomorrow, so I'll give the voting another 24 hours to see what the final result is.
I'm actually kind of surprised that just as many people want new Access 2007 Basic training as do want Advanced training for Access 2003. What I would like to know is this: for those of you who want Access 2003 Advanced training, WHAT would you like to learn? There is SO much I could cover. Post here what your thoughts are.
The number of people who want VB6 training still REALLY surprises me. I thought most people would be more interested in VB2008 or VB.NET, but it looks like there are a ton of people still wanting classic VB6. Good for you. I love VB6.
For the curious, the following items are also high in demand, but aren't in the top 3:
- Excel 2003 Advanced
- PowerPoint 2007
- Javascript
- CSS
- PHP & MySQL
- Photoshop CS4
- Networking
Keep those votes coming in. If there's something YOU want to see, make sure to cast your vote on the Waiting List today.
Next class starts tomorrow. I'd like to get at least 3 or 4 new classes finished before Christmas.
P.S. Here's a direct link to the top courses on the Waiting List. I know it's getting big and tough to find stuff:
-Office 2007 Courses
-Windows 7
-VB 6
