OK, all of the new MP4 videos have been uploaded to the server BUT there's a snag. By default, MP4 videos don't stream well. Your web browser has to basically download the ENTIRE video file before it begins playing it. Not good.
But... I found a utility that fixes this problem. It converts the MP4 files into a format that web browsers can stream. Unfortunately, I have to run this utility on ALL of the videos... which means another huge batch... which means another massive upload. Ugh. This online video thing is a pain sometimes.
Now, you can watch all of the videos with the new MP4 format in the new video player that's online (in the Theater). It looks great. The only problem is that the entire video has to download before it will start playing... so there's a slight delay. This will be fixed soon. Let me know what you think of the quality though. Oh, pick FLASH player to see the new MP4 files.
UPDATE 6/12/12: All of the videos have been re-converted and are now uploading back to the server. They're going alphabetically. I started the transfer this afternoon and we're up to Access 223 as of 4:12 am. Should probably take the rest of today to finish. Again, everything WORKS, but if you come across a video that hasn't been converted yet, it will just have to download completely in your browser before it starts playing. Ah... technology.
