Yes, in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The Man Trap" (Season 1, Episode 1), Dr. Leonard McCoy reunites with an old flame named Nancy Crater. During their conversation, she affectionately refers to him by the nickname "Plum" - as in, "Leonard, you've hardly changed a bit. You're still my dear old Plum."
This is a rare glimpse into McCoy's past and personal life. The nickname "Bones" is, of course, short for "sawbones," an old term for a doctor, but "Plum" is a much more personal and tender nickname from before his days on the Enterprise.

Richard I thought you were giving the wife some quality Richard time this weekend. Check out that resolve when a Star Trek trivia question comes along.
She is getting quality time... A man has to poop sometimes...

Since we're doing bathroom humor, isn't there better things to look at in the head, so she gets even more quality time?

SPOILER ALERT: Of course, it's not really Nancy Crater... Hence the title of the episode. And Nancy was a *former* romance. Bones actually romances Lt Barrows in Shore Leave ("I'm a doctor, I never peek.").
I'll be honest, my knowledge of Trek Original Series trivia is nowhere near as good as my knowledge of Next Generation trivia. But, yeah, that's pretty cool.
