for me i still like it. there is a way it organises my lessons into one neat small window. even when i have no or slow internet connection, i somehow find my way to the lesson i want. in fact, i even liked the older version more because it would play the next video automatically. How about leaving it optional for us? for instance, clearly stating on the website that you no longer provide support for it but its available for for those who want to use it.

I could do that, but part of the problem is that I have to package up the new courses as they're released into a format that the AVP uses to download/install. It would save me a lot of time just having to prepare a ZIP file when I release a new class. It's still something I'm considering though.
