I feel content shown is just fine, I would like to see the quality better where everything is sharp, I feel the sound is better than the older ones and the sound isnt the biggest issue I have. I am just comparing quality I see with other videos that I have purchased from other people. I use dual monitors with one monitor for your tutorial to play full screen at 1920 x 1080 and the other monitor to have access open up I know everyone does not have dual monitors, but when I was using one monitor I still had to switch windows back and forth between the video and access. The last tutorial I bought from someone else had great quality 4 hour tutorial and 4 files at 1.2 gb file size. I did not mind the file sizes it takes me 10 minutes to download. Disk space is so cheap these days and everyone just about as a broadband connection.

I feel your tutorials are top notch and the best out there for Access thats why I keep comming back. I just wish the look of your tutorials felt top notch and professional.

I will still be getting your tutorials even if the quality doesnt improve this is just my opinion that I wanted to share.

Reply from Richard Rost:

Brent, I certainly appreciate your opinion and your feedback. I've always been trying to straddle the fine line between file size and quality. You're right - most people don't have dual monitors. I try to keep the videos small enough so that folks can see the video side-by-side with Access, and yet show enough of the screen so they can follow where I'm at. I know you get spoiled with extra monitors (I have 5 on my desk). You can always resize the videos if you want them larger. I know that's not going to increase the amount of information displayed in the video, but I always try to make sure you can see what needs to be seen. As far as production quality goes... I'll be the first to admit that there are many other tutorials out there with a higher-quality "professional" edited video feel to them. I'm not a video professional. I'm a database nerd with screen capture software. Having all of my videos professionally edited would increase my costs and slow down my turnaround times. I hope everyone is OK with the medium-quality of my videos' look and feel. I try to make up for it with AWESOME content. :)  Thanks for coming back!
