Computer Learning Zone CLZ Access Excel Word Windows

I think we're going to the moon because it's in the nature of the human being to face challenges. It's by the nature of his deep inner soul... we're required to do these things just as salmon swim upstream.

Multi Field Search Form
Rob R

13 years ago
Sorry Richard you are right I did mean RESET. I am afraid I have never used code and would not know where to put it. What I am trying to do is use the multi field search form from your tutorial to do multiple searches i.e. keep each set of results open while entering a new query into the search form. At the moment I have to close the search result before running another search. I was hoping I could put a reset button next to the Search button that would reset the form and let it generate new results. Sorry if that does not make much sense but I can not think of a better way of phrasing it.

Reply from Richard Rost:

That would work. Like I said, in the BUILD EVENT for your new button, just set the fields equal to empty string:

FirstName=""
LastName=""
etc.
