Based on yesterday's vote, I attempted Option A and engaged in calm, rational diplomacy while appealing to Klingon honor.
This was a mistake.
The Klingon Chancellor listened patiently for approximately seven seconds before declaring my argument insulting. He then struck the ceremonial table with his bat'leth, which triggered a minor structural collapse and released several unsecured Tribbles into the chamber.
The Tribble ambassador interpreted this as applause and began multiplying in celebration.
Diplomacy has officially failed. Honor remains unresolved. Fur levels are now considered a safety hazard.
I am reassessing my options.
What should I do next?
A) Escalate to a formal Klingon honor duel and hope it is ceremonial. B) Attempt a strategic retreat while blaming everything on Starfleet Legal. C) Activate emergency transport and leave behind a convincing decoy Tribble.

A) Escalate to a formal Klingon honor duel and hope it is ceremonial. But realize that the "ceremonial" may apply to your funeral, so, if the opportunity presents itself, "go for the kill!" LLAP!
