I have noticed that even those who assert that everything is predestined and that we can change nothing about it still look both ways before they cross the street.
It's Monday, and I'm officially back in the office after one of those weekends where life decided to throw a few extra side quests at me. Between some technical issues with the website and a handful of personal matters that needed my attention, I didn't get nearly as much done as I had planned.
That means a couple of projects are running a little behind schedule. I'm still working on the SQL Server course and Developer 61, so don't worry, they're absolutely coming. I just got knocked a little behind the 8-ball for a few days.
I even missed getting Quick Queries out this weekend. That almost never happens without at least one or two emails showing up asking, "Hey Rick, is everything okay?" And honestly, I love that. It reminds me that so many of you have made these videos part of your regular routine. I try to get Quick Queries out on Fridays, but sometimes they slip to Saturday or Sunday. This weekend, however, was just one of those rare occasions where the universe had other plans.
Also, if you've been waiting for a customer service reply from me, hang tight. I'm working through those today and I'll get caught up shortly. Then it's back into the recording room. The "cameras" will be on, the keyboard will be clacking, and we'll get back to building databases and causing just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
Thanks for your patience, everyone. Sometimes even the captain has to take a brief detour before getting the ship back on course.
Richard As the great philosopher said, "Sh#t happens". LOL!!! I did miss not seeing a QQ this weekend, but its easy for you to "make it right". Just add more penguins and tribbles to the graphics. LLAP!
Richard I've been on this planet for 80 years. Been there, done that and got the T-shirt. Take care of yourself and best regards.

Richard, you are very well thought of by your users, and we do notice when your usual behavior changes. At the same time, we understand that you are human (some might think differently), and crap happens. Get back to it, and we'll wait for the next new video to come out.
