Well, I got the email from Microsoft today. I've been awarded Microsoft MVP status again for another year. By my count, this makes number six*.
It's always an honor to be recognized alongside such a talented group of Microsoft Access experts. There aren't many Access MVPs in the world, so it's something I never take for granted.
A big thank you to Alex Hedley, who first nominated me back in 2013, and to Mike Wolfe, who helped get me back into the program in 2023 after I took a few years off. Life got in the way for a while, but it's been great to be back doing what I love: teaching Microsoft Access and helping people learn.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go update all of the Microsoft MVP logos on my website and in my PP slide decks... again.

Richard, congratulations on another well-deserved Award.
It's great to see that Microsoft recognizes and appreciates the phenomenal work you do, not only in educating the rest of us, but championing [especially] Access and other Microsoft technologies, truly striving to make sure that everyone you reach knows what a valuable resource it can be.
It's not just your expertise in Access that sets you apart, but your ability to present the material in both an informative and interesting way so as to encourage even the most tech-phobic person to realize that they too can use it and be successful.
I have no doubt that we will once again be congratulating you again next year!

Congratulations in deed, well earned. There is no doubt the Microsoft team continues to improve the best applications for productivity with continuous improvement and advances.
