Hi Richard I have several access program's and most of them have an options and or a setup form where you can adjust different settings do the program. I would like to see an expert series showing how to manipulate settings using a checkbox or yes no field. for example one of my program's has an option to select tax rate in the settings screen and when you choose this option and select a tax rate it applies it through the whole program, Other settings are Choose font and layout for a certain Screen, apply your own logo. Another thing I have seen is a selection of which Form opens up on startup selected by a combo box. Other program's apply settings by having a table and then using Dlookup to implement the setting, I'd love to see how all this works, it's fascinating Cheers Mars

I covered most of this in my older Access 310 class. I'm sure I'll get to it again in the Developer series. A lot of this requires VBA and DLOOKUP commands.
