NOT Upgrading Your Computer
Leroy Barker

I have an old dell latitude DS 10 that has crashed.  When I try to boot it it tries to start in safe mode and then it says it can't start in safe mode and tries to restart in safe mode again.  How can I fix this?

Reply from Rick Rost:

My first recommendation would be to replace the laptop. If it's old, put it out to pasture. :)

Aside from that, the next easiest solution is to backup whatever data you can, wipe the drive, and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows. That fixes most problems.

Troubleshooting PCs can be a nightmare and is difficult to do remotely.
