Everything seemed to get hung up on "UpdatePicture"
I substituted
EmployeeImage.Picture=EmployeePicture
and everything seemed to work well. I'm using Windows 7 and MS Office 365. Any thoughts on why the 'Updatepicture' wouldn't work and is there a problem using the line of code I replaced it with? Thanks, Ian

Hi Ian, It's been a while since I've done the Imaging Seminar but don't remember seeing this issue, If might be worth using the full IF ELSE statement but I don't see a reason why it would hang. The UpdatePicture sub is used elsewhere, have you noticed it hang when the Form opens or if you change the picture?
