this formula =HLOOKUP(T2,DATA!$AY$166:DATA!$NZZ$168,3,TRUE) was in excel to display positions like 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... positions respectively according to students scores in a subject with students with the highest score as 1st position, the next 2nd and so on, I want to do same but in Ms-Access, please jelp me out. thanks in anticipation

You could create a Query with an ORDER BY that puts the highest value first.
