Debra, It's 3 1/2 years later but just in case you find this --- I wrestled with the same problem for about an hour before I could even find out what was happening. The code behind the payment button ended with [ Me.Requery ] I changed it to [ Me.Refresh ] and I got the results I wanted. The focus stayed on this record and updated as needed! You have probably discovered this by now.
