Hello,
Can somebody please explain why the DisableBypassKey_ code gives me this compile error. The Dim DB As DAO.Database line is highlighted.
I am using Access 2016.

Try removing "DAO." Just say: dim db as database Make sure DAO is above ADO in your references.
