Hi have checked my code multiple times and it matches completely but when I login and go to disable or enable the bypass key nothing happens. I don't even get an error. I also noted that the buttons appear about half a second after all the other buttons on the main menu. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it as well.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am still working though the code for linking the backend on startup through vba code now but I realized for the bypass key I did not have Data Access Objects library (DAO) is checked in the Tools - References list in the VBA Editor's menu/ribbon. Through reading forums on Microsoft I found that the DAO library is outdated I believe so I ended up checking the Microsoft Access 15 object library and seem to be good thus far
