Access has frozen on opening the database cannot close it. Error message - "Undefined function 'Format' in operation" "OK" just gives me the message again.

Sorry the error message was "Undefined function 'Format' in expression"
The problem is it freezes the Database window. The only way I can get out of it is to shut the computer down.

Even after restarting the PC it still opens and instant freezes? Have you tried opening it in safe mode and seeing if you can get to anything? Ctrl+ double Click application shortcut

Alan try downloading it again. It might be that your file is corrupted.
Just to make sure - you are extracting the file from the .zip aren't you? You can't run it from within the zip file.

Tried downloading again. Same Problem.
