Rounding to nearest 12 Hour

I have travel invoices requiring me to round the mileage hours to the nearest half hour.

Formula: total miles / 60 miles/hour = hours billed (rounded to nearest half hour.) 369/60=4.15 (round to 4.5)

Is there a way to set this up in a query to reliably calculate the answer to the nearest half hour?

You could do this with a IIF statement, it just might be a little complex. IIF Function You would have to check if it's an INT (perfect hour), or if it's greater than the int but less then int+.5 or greater than the int +.5

Well for some reason I cant post this LOL, take out the 123 numbers Assuming your field is called TimeCalc, something like this IIf(Int([TimeCalc])=[TimeCalc],[TimeCalc],IIf123([TimeCalc]123<123Int([TimeCalc])+0.5,[TimeCalc]+0.5,Int([TimeCalc])+1))

Kevin, Thank you for directing me to this video. I am not up to the advanced level and coding yet, but I do see where it can be don with the correct coding. I will work towards this goal in the near future. Thanks. Adam, . Thank you for tip, I will try using this this as a fix for now until I get to the advanced level and feel more comfortable with coding.
