You will now see a checkbox and have the option to subscribe to a particular page/forum whenever you post there. Before the subscription was automatic, and that led to me, for example, having HUNDREDS of subscriptions. So now you have the option. You can "unsubscribe" to those pages you're not totally interested in.
Yeah, I find myself posting and replying on most of the pages of the site, but I want to reserve notifications to just the important ones. You'll still get a notification to any conversation you're involved in, like this one. You just won't see notifications for other posts on this page UNLESS you manually subscribe.
