Richard, I am still struggling with trying to design a search tool for locating records that are entered into the data base. I would like to model it after the one that is used by the US Census. The main page starts off with one drop down (or list) box from which you select a state. Then, a second box appears from which you select a county, a third appears for the municipality. You keep drilling down until you reach the table for the exact data set that you want to find.
Can you include something like this in the SQL 2 seminar?
Reply from Richard Rost:
Yep. I know I've covered the "cascading combo boxes" before using regular queries and parameters, but I'll show you a better way using pure SQL in this class. Consider it added to the list.
