Surgery went well. Can't feel my mouth still. Recovering. Nap time.

Like the patient said after his successful colostomy resection, "I'm glad it's all behind me now."

Yeah... I've got one of those coming up soon too. Oh the joys of getting old.

Still can't feel my lower jaw, tongue, cheeks, etc. It's all tingly. :)

If that's the case I don't recommend trying to record new videos right now.  You get tang toungled at time as it is!

Been there, done that, lad. Lots of fun, trust me.

Indeed. No... I can't talk at all. I feel like I've got a baseball in my mouth with all this gauze. LOL

Hope you are feeling better.  I think it would have been fun to hear you do a video right after. Just hiccup now and then and everyone would think you were slurring due to adult beverages over the holiday and not nitrous oxide. LOL!

Bahaha. Yeah, that would be a hoot.

Hope today is going well.  I've found the day of / day after isn't so bad because you're numb.  It's usually the 2nd and 3rd day that gets you.

Yeah, I'm feeling it more today - day 3. The first day I was like, "that wasn't so bad." Ate some ice cream. Yesterday I was a little sort, but nothing a little ibuprofen couldn't handle. Today I'm feeling it. Able to talk just fine, so I'm recording... but still got to eat soft foods. Gotta make sure nothing gets in my holes. LOL. But yeah, I had to up the ibuprofen dose a bit. The doctor prescribed me hydrocodone... haven't needed that yet, so we'll just put that in the medicine cabinet and save it for a rainy day. Ha ha. Last time I threw my back out that stuff was a life saver.

Hope the side effect of all this is it gets rid of the migraines.  Not a bad idea to have stronger stuff on hand.
