OK I admit it. I am one of the few who said don't give up the day job. In my defence I said so because you are so good at your day job! It was a reflection of that, not a comment about your potential as a stand up comic. The fact you enjoy what you do means you are far more likley to engage with your audience and create content that is memorable and not boring. So whist I still say don't give up the day job I also say BE SILLY and enjoy yourself.
