The drop down works well on iPhone/iPad, I quite like it on the desktop site too.

The new "under construction" web site logon uses a lot of Ajax... going out to the office (database) server to get the user info. Then it caches it in a local copy on the web server JUST IN CASE the office db is offline for any reason (you can still log on with your last known credentials). Your info is also stored in a cookie, so the Ajax can auto log you in in the background when you come back to the site (watch the title bar).
Another thing I'm not sure of is the color scheme. What do you think? Too pastel-y? I was thinking of changing the colors slightly depending on what the user is looking at. Green for Excel. Purpose for Access. Yes/No?
