Jill, MOST of the material I cover in my Photoshop tutorials is valid for Elements as well. Some features that are NOT available in Elements that I do cover are the channels palette, color balance adjustments, layer masks, pen tool and paths, and some of the advanced filters like Lens Blur. However, I'd say that MOST of these features aren't things that basic Elements users would use anyhow. 99% of the material in my beginner Photoshop courses are valid for ALL versions.
