Q:
Your videos are small. Is there any way that I can
make them bigger? A:
We've recorded our videos to fit in a window on your screen that is only
448 x 300 pixels in size. This was done for two reasons. First, it allows
you to watch the video side-by-side with the application you're working
with. You can watch the video and work on your sample Excel spreadsheet,
for example, at the same time.
Second, we wanted to make the videos small enough to
be able to play over the Web without loading too slow. Larger, full-screen
videos can sometimes take a very long time to load even over broadband
connections.
If you want to make the videos larger, you have two
options. First, there is a little checkbox in our video player labeled
"External." If you check that box ON our videos will load in the
Windows Media Player program. Once there, you can resize or maximize the
window to make the videos as large as you'd like.

Second, you can open up your Windows Explorer (or My
Computer) and navigate to the folder on your hard drive that contains our
videos. This will usually look something like this:
C:\ Program Files \ 599CD \
Windows101
In that folder, you will find all of the video files
for the course you're taking. You can simply double-click on the video
files here and they will open up in Windows Media Player. In fact, the
latest version of our installation software actually creates a shortcut to
this folder on your desktop.
