Super Sweet Mugs

One day, not too long ago, and out of nowhere, I get this package in the mail from Vista Print. Now, I've ordered business cards and such from them before, but I haven't ordered anything in at least a year.

So, I open the box. Inside are two super cool, awesome, personalized Star Trek coffee mugs. They've got all my favorites on there... Jimmy Kirk, Picard, the "Big E" herself. Plus, my name and birthday are on there.

There was no sender information, so now I have to try to figure out who sent me these awesome coffee mugs.

Well, there could only be a few people. My address isn't public info. Only a couple of people outside of my friends and family have that. I figured it had to be one of my students, since most of my friends and family aren't Star Trek nerds (although they know I am) and they're not likely to send me something like this in the mail. You guys all know I'm a Trekkie because of my videos.

Then it dawned on me... Only one man in the universe knows I'm a Trekkie, knows my birthday, and sends me random stuff. So, a huge shout-out and thank you to John Davy. He was my first guess, and I was right. An email confirmed it. What also gave John away was not too long ago he emailed me asking about the significance of ranks in the Star Trek world. I'm an admiral, by the way, not a Commander... but we'll overlook that since the coffee mugs are so freakin' awesome. LOL

So thank you once again. I really love them. They're sitting on my Trek shelf which is currently all packed up because we're getting ready to move soon, but I'll post a pic of them once I get the new office setup.
