I just discovered a MAJOR bug in the Amicron Video Player. For those of you who have emailed me over the past couple weeks saying that your Handbooks were giving you INVALID PASSWORD errors when you tried to install them, I apologize. The problem was a bug in the system.
If you downloaded a Video Course (let's say Excel 101) and then went and immediately downloaded the Handbook for it, you would get the error when you tried to install it. The reason was because of an error in ONE line of code in my Video Player software - it was somehow running the installation for the VIDEO again, and feeding it the wrong password.
So... the latest version of the Video Player has the fix in it. Just start the Video Player that is currently installed on your system. It will go to the web site and find the update. You can run the update right from inside the Player. Once the new Player is installed, just log on to your account again and download your handbooks again. This time, they should install OK without needing a password.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. I could never find the problem because when a customer would compain, most of the time they would just say, "your handbook is telling me the password is wrong." So I would log on to the site, download the handbook and type in their password... and it would work for me.
The problem ONLY showed up if you downloaded the course THEN tried to download the handbook. I never did both in sequence - and that's why it took me so long to find the problem!
