A little over a year ago, I accidentally let one of my lesser-used domain names (MyOnlineLearningPartner.com) expire. I missed the renewal email from the registrar and didn't catch it until it was too late.
So, of course, some [CENSORED] poached it on me. I tried contacting him to see if he wanted to sell it back to me, but he never returned my emails.
Well, Karma is a hell of a thing. Looks like he let it expire, so I just snatched it back. What goes around comes around.
For those of you who are curious, MyOnlineLearningPartner.com is my membership site where you can pay one price per month (or year) and get online (only) access ALL of my tutorials, handbooks, seminars, etc. I had an abbreviated domain name for it (MYOLP.com) which was still under my control, but the longer domain name was stolen from me because I let it expire.
It wasn't too much of a problem, because that long domain name wasn't really linked anywhere (which is why I had the short name) but it was listed in some of my early videos (like Windows 101) and on a couple of other web sites.
But I finally got it back... so to all of you domain poachers out there... go away or I shall taunt you a SECOND time!
