Those with the courage to explore the weave and structure of the Cosmos, even where it differs profoundly from their wishes and prejudices, will penetrate its deepest mysteries.

Forum Posts and Helping People

As all of you who have been here for more than a few months know, I love helping people. I absolutely LOVE it. I wish I could spend ALL DAY just chatting with you online, answering questions in the Forums, and replying to your free TechHelp posts. I really do. It gives me great pleasure to assist other people.

Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons why I haven't released any new classes since NOVEMBER. I've been keeping track over the past week or so, and I'm spending about 4 to 6 hours every day just answering free tech support requests. Between the Forums, emails, and other items, I'm giving away too much of my time and it's killing production.

So... over the coming weeks and months, I'm going to be spending a little less time helping out with free tech support and a little more time recording videos. This means that I may not personally answer every post in the Forums, and I may not answer as many of the free TechHelp questions that get sent in. Fortunately, I've got Alex helping me with TechHelp, so if you really, REALLY need an answer with a problem, and make sure you select the PAID support option if you want a response any time soon. We say the minimum charge is $20, but in reality if Alex can answer your question in just a few minutes, it'll probably be more like $5. That happens quite often.

Sorry, but I'm REALLY behind schedule. Before the holidays, I had hoped to have dozens more classes and a few seminars released by now, but I'm just spending too much time answering free support questions. I try to keep my tutorials as inexpensive as possible... but that means I have to cut back on some of the individual support I've been giving people. If I can help 100 people with a video, I can justify charging $5.99 for it. If it's just me helping you, you see the problem with the math.

There just aren't enough hours in the day. I will continue to read through the Forums, and post answers to questions when I have time... but I may just be "approving" your post so that others can read it (and hopefully help with an answer). I can't keep spending several hours every day answering free help requests though... at least not until I'm caught up with my work.

Thanks for understanding.
