Q: I am writing you with the assumption you agree with the "there is no such thing as a stupid question" rule. I am in my senior years and never had formal teaching except with your CDs. My question: is there such a thing as scanning a form to be filled out with my scanner then saving it to my computer to be filled in? My handwriting is not what it used to be and I am forever having to fill out forms. Thanks for a reply, Bill J.

A: Bill, you are correct. There are no stupid questions. Asking a question is the first step of learning. There are a couple of ways to do what you want to do. The first and EASIEST way is to purchase software specifically designed for this. I used to use a great piece of software called OmniForm which lets you scan in your paper form and then convert it to a form that you can type data into on the screen, and print it out.
