Went to see the new Captain America last night. While I liked it overall, there's just something "boring" with these new Marvel movies. I feel like I'm just stuck in the same... long... movie... over... and... over... again. I think I started getting bored with them around Avengers: Endgame. It's like one long string of "been there; done that."
Looking forward to the new Superman movie though. Always ready for a new take on Supes.
I haven't seen it yet. Probably wait until it's available on DVD. Last time I saw a movie in the cinema was in 2004 when I drove 100 miles to see 'New York Minute' in Dundee.
Yeah, when I was younger, I used to get really excited about seeing movies in the theater, but as I got older, I appreciate being able to watch a movie at home and pause it if I have to pee lol. To be honest, with my vision, the big screen just doesn't have the excitement that it did before.
It's been awhile since a decent Superman movie comes out. Thing I don't like about Warnerbrothers and Comic book movies is they go maybe if lucky 3 and then reboot over and over again. So same problem in a way as the MCU issue where some Marvel feel like saw it before do something new...
