Where Does Computer Teacher Fit In?

I came across this Venn diagram about career choices (see comment below), and while I found it amusing, I think it needs a slight adjustment. It suggests that if you have math skills and problem-solving abilities, you should be an engineer. If you have problem-solving and people skills, you should go into management. But what about those of us who have all three, math skills, problem-solving, and people skills?

Clearly, that overlap should lead to computer teacher. Think about it. You need math skills to understand logic and programming, problem-solving to debug everything that inevitably goes wrong, and people skills to explain it all to students who are on the verge of throwing their computers out the window.

And let's be honest, if you've ever tried to teach a room full of adults how to use a database, you definitely need patience. Where's that on the chart?

I might just have to redraw this diagram to make it more accurate. Anyone else think this could use some tweaking?

Yes absolutely. You will need to be able to show three skills intersecting.

See if Chat GPT can create it for you. You are better at giving instructions to AI.

Haha. I could redraw the diagram myself... but it's not worth the time. :)

That explains why I did standup comedy for so many years.
