Just a quick update. I'm going to be out of the office until Monday, March 31st. This time it's a business trip, not a vacation... though it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm heading up to Redmond for the Microsoft MVP Summit 2025 where we'll be discussing [REDACTED]. Oh sorry... NDA.
After the Summit is Access Day. I'm really looking forward to learning what's new in the world of Microsoft, meeting the Access team, seeing other MVPs, and hopefully some of you too. Access Day is open to the public. So if you're in the Seattle or Redmond area on March 28th, definitely check it out.
I'll be traveling with my full mobile office setup... my laptop, external screen, and all the gear. So yes, I will be checking emails and keeping an eye on things (but just one). It's a lot harder to get stuff done remotely than it is sitting at my regular office desk. I'll be taking care of the important stuff while I'm away. Minor issues may have to wait until I return. I'll do my best to log on every other day or so.
As always, if you have technical questions, please post them in the forums. For customer service issues, use the customer service form. And if it's truly urgent, you can email me directly. Email does come through to my phone, but I get a lot of email, so again... best bet: use the customer service form.
As Captain Archer said, "The most important thing when you're traveling is not where you're going, it's what you're learning along the way."
Sometimes you have to chart a new course and see what lies ahead. This is one of those opportunities. Looking forward to coming back with some new knowledge and ideas to share...
Well... the stuff I can share... everything except for [REDACTED].
I'm looking forward to hearing all about the plans for Access.
Especially when MS is going to add VSS to Access and support for wifi. (Hint, hint)
And when they are going to fix instancing, so it closes the proper form that is active, and not some other.
Hmm... never had any problems with form instances myself. Spent a whole hour covering them in Developer 47. Now, what they could do is make instancing easier so you don't have to go through a boatload of code in order to use it. I've never had a problem with closing the wrong form.

I'm excited for your adventure "Captain Ricard" (see what I did there) and looking forward to your summary of the trip. Seriously though, your time with them helps us all. Thanks in advance.

@Richard, You can see the bug here. I've tested it recently on Office 365, and the bug is still with us.
