The belief that the world is getting worse, that we can't solve extreme poverty and disease, isn't just mistaken. It is harmful.

Yep It's Raining

Got into Seattle yesterday. Cold and rainy. Today? Cold and rainy. Rest of the week? Cold and rainy. Seems the stereotype is real. It's honestly a refreshing change. It's hard work living in perfect, paradise-like weather all year. Lol

I will agree with you on the cold (53), bu that wind won't stop. It's supposed to be nice (for Washington on Tuesday). First day in the 60 +.  In all honesty we need the rain.   Snow and rain are two things we haven't much of.

Many years ago, I had a two-week stint in Seattle learning a manufacturing package that ran on our mini-computers.
I didn't see the sun the whole time there, just gray and black. I think it started to affect me mentally.
Maybe that explains Microsoft?

What month? Mid June to Mid September the last several years is more blue than gray.  A patch of blue is out over the Puget Sound or was when I went by about 6:30 P.M.  Tomorrow is partianlly bright yellow orb day.  However a crappy shower with thunder booms in the evening are on the docket for Wed. and then we start the it might but might not rain... odds increasing on how badly you want dry weather.  The wind can die however.  I want to go fly fishing and wind defeats the purpose...

Well, tomorrow there's not much to do at the MVP Summit as far as Microsoft Access goes. So in the morning at 9:00 a.m. is the keynote address, which I plan on attending. Then I might go see one of the other talks on some of the technologies, like Excel and SQL Server. But nothing Access-related happens until Wednesday, so the wife and I are planning to do some of the touristy stuff around Seattle. Maybe we'll see the Space Needle and that kind of stuff.

I just read there is a slim chance that the Pacific NW will get a view of the Northern Lights on Tuesday (tonight).  Of course the weather will stink Wed. :(

I am currently 100 miles east of Seattle and the weather is noticeably better than Seattle. I hope the weather holds for the 3 hour drive to Seattle Friday morning to attend Access day.

Today (Wed) it's muggy warm rain thunderstorm possible hail storm, then thursday is liquid sunshine, and friday is partially something or another with sp;otty showers.  I liked that sun was out yesterday and not as windy as last week.

Yeah, yesterday was a nice day here. Went to see the Space Needle and it was a really clear, sunny day. :)
