Tax Day, Part Deux
Richard Rost

Still feeling the pain. Although, full disclosure, I really only worked on them for a couple of hours yesterday. It was such a beautiful day outside that I had to make an executive decision and go in the pool with the dogs instead.

Priorities.

The taxes will still be there. The sunshine and happy dogs might not be.

Besides, even Captain Picard knew when it was time to put down the reports and take a walk through the arboretum. You have got to find some balance. Even during tax season.

ChatGPT gave Picard 5 pips on his collar. Well deserved. :)

Who's your favorite? Kirk?

Of course. Kirk is whom I grew up watching. Picard is second and Janeway is third.
That's my top three.

I'm right there with ya, but I'm Picard, Kirk, Janeway.

But it all depends. If I had to pick which captain would be more fun to serve with, I'd definitely pick Kirk. But if I wanted to pick which captain I'd have a better chance of survival with, I'd pick Picard, lol. I'd rather serve under Picard and hang out with Kirk. And Janeway - she was just a good captain. Not as good as Picard, but not as fun as Kirk.

Picard then Janeway.  I didn't see a whole whole lot of orig ST growing up vs NG and V that I watched as it went, so maybe that's why Kirk isn't as much for me.  Thusly, that 5th pip looks mighty fine there.  >>:=)  I thought tax season was over, but yes, taking time to do enjoyable things is important.  Take advantage of that pool time before temps get up into the 90s is what I say.
Hope everybody had a good weekend

Yeah, tax season's over for most of the country, but we Floridians have until May 1st. One of the benefits of living where hurricanes hit.

Kirk, Picard, Archer, Janeway, Sisco.  But would any of these Captains be as successful as they are without their outstanding officers and crew!?
