Out of Office Monday
Richard Rost

Just a heads-up that I will be out of the office tomorrow, Monday, May 5th. And no, it's not because I'm celebrating Cinco de Mayo and going on a margarita-fueled bender. I've got some personal business to attend to and will be taking a short road trip. I'll be back at my desk Tuesday afternoon.

If you have something critical that absolutely cannot wait until then, feel free to email me. Otherwise, use the customer service form and I'll get back to you as soon as I return.

Now, speaking of Cinco de Mayo, here's your history moment for the day. A lot of folks think it's Mexican Independence Day. It's not. That's actually celebrated in September. Cinco de Mayo marks the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla in 1862, when Mexican forces, heavily outnumbered, defeated the French army. It was a surprising and symbolic victory, kind of like holding off a Klingon boarding party with nothing but a phaser and a broken door panel.

So enjoy your day, and remember: you don't need a holiday as an excuse to take a little shore leave once in a while... or a margarita. :)

LLAP/RR

P.S. Oh, and of course, I haven't forgotten what today is. May the 4th be with you.

Alex I think the Yoda one looks cool. The other two are pretty creepy.

Atleast you kept with the classics and didn't lower yourself into "JarJar Rost" image, lol

Donald don't get me started on how awful the prequel trilogy was.

Originals: awesome movies (well, New Hope and Empire were. Jedi was good until the Ewoks came on - Lucas' quest for more toy money was strong in this movie)

Prequel Trilogy: way too much CGI because it was new and "because we can." Jar Jar... worst character in any movie EVER. Trade negotiations? Yay! Exciting.

Sequel Trilogy: let's tell the exact same story with new characters! An orphan desert child gets rescued in the Millennium Falcon and they have to blow up a Death Star. Gee... so original. (It was cool to see Han and Chewy together again though). Luke's story was complete garbage though.

Ewoks are just Care Bears that sold their magical powers for drugs.

I like the "Yoda" one; the others not so much.

Ewoks are not the cute "teddy bears" they appear to be.  They are actually monsters that eat sentient life forms.  LOL!!!
