Hey, is this badge exclusive for you, LOL. If not, I'd love to share the love! I spent quite a few years developing the software, databases, and website for the "Annual Stargate Fan Awards". Had a blast and my team were incredible and very hard-workers :) My living room is decorated in SG1 show props, including an original Serpent Guard head, complete with lighted eyes. When my daughter was young, she called it "Spirit" -- who knows why :) I really didn't mean to purchase it either, but that's another story...
I'll add your badge as soon as I get back to the office tomorrow.

You'll see a couple of family portraits in there LOL. They are...believe it or not...church photos with us dressed with Warehouse 13 props LOL. Serpent Guard head is HEAVY. The eyes light up red, but the battery is dead.

I accidentally won the serpent head in an online auction. I was just wanting to find the lowest allowed value, so I input bids until it booked it ($5,000). I TOTALLY expected someone to outbid me! Oops! But it's been a great talking piece. It sits above our main TV HA

Hopefully, I passed the Star Trek quiz, too! Though I DISAGREE with some of the answers. Need more Enterprise questions!
I know you didn't ask but I would probably replace the batteries in the serpent head with a wall-wart power supply adapter. (Without modifying the head) I don't trust batteries not to leak.

Kelly you put our Alex to shame.

@Matt -- yes, we removed that shortly after we got the 'head'. The studio had an odd battery -- can't remember the details -- I had planned to rewire it, probably over 10 years ago now, but it hasn't reached the top of my list yet LOL

@Sami == aww, not to shame. I just spent way too much money on decorating with collectibles when I was young and poor! Alex probably has a fortune now, but I've got collectibles :)

Funny thing about the head: there is basically a hard hat attached to the inside for the wearer. Kinda nice because it's adjustable, as hard hats are. Also, it was apparently used by two different guys (not any of the 'heroes' / main actors) because their names are inside the hard hat. Maybe they switched off because it is very hot in there. I have to use my hands to support it when I tried it on (years ago).
Now, the 'Machello' costume was worn by Michael Shanks. Got him to sign it at a convention. It was a steal at auction because I don't think anyone realized Machello was played by Michael. Makes a great Halloween costume, too :)
