Not surprising. Most people want Access Developer. SQL Server a strong second. Database Design & Theory a surprising third. And see... Excel is still surprisingly popular even though there are a TON of other Excel tutorials out there.

Not everyone teaches as clearly as you, Rick.

Your teaching style helps put your excel videos to the front.

More like a friend sharing knowledge and sometimes learning along with you than someone lecturing, and often being confident they know it all while being completely wrong

I'll admit, I used to know just about everything there was to know about Excel back around 2010. When I wrote my book, I had researched practically everything Excel could do. But over the past 15 years, I haven't kept up with all the new features (and there have been a lot of them). Some things, like Power BI, I'd need to study myself because I wouldn't call myself an expert in those areas today.

That said, doing more Excel training would not only bring new eyeballs to my YouTube channel and website, but it would also help me stay current with what's new in Excel.

And here's how I see it: when I redo my Excel course, I'll use it as a gateway to promote Access. At the end of each lesson or course I can say, "If you really want to learn how to properly manage this data as a database, let me show you how it works in Access." That way I can bring more people over, and I'll essentially be evangelizing Access.

I'll be the patron saint of Access. :)

Chris is right... There are a lot of other people who teach stuff on youtube or their own sites.  But your way of teaching makes things much clearer. Easier to understand.  I do find myself thinking Hmmm... Rick does it different, I like Ricks way better...
