Progression for Rank Insignia

Hello Rick,

Setting some goals... how do I achieve the following ranks:
1. Rear Admiral, 2 Star
2. Vice Admiral

I read that this was based on purchased courses, but I'm maxed out on Access Developer Courses (still waiting on 51 and 52) and I've purchased most of the Seminars.

Thanks,

-Raymond

Will those of us that already purchased 51 and 52 get a notification when the class is completed? Asking because I until recently was the fat kid running way behind the bus. Now I'm caught up..... :D

It's an algorithm I developed; it's based on the courses that you have, how long you've been a student, and a few other factors. I honestly forget what the formula is because it's been like five or six years since I developed it. But it's not just classes - posts and comments are in there somehow, and there are a lot of factors. I know that I'm the only fleet admiral that's allowed, and Alex is the only four-star admiral that's allowed. I think the moderators are all vice admirals at three. I'm not sure though. But I think the best that a regular user can acquire is rear admiral two stars. But I'll have to dig into the algorithm to see. And yes, I know developer 51 and 52 aren't completed; I'm still working on those. Sorry for the delay, and Sandra has actually sent me some extra some of the other developer handbooks that I just had to put up online. That's my bad; I got so much going on lol.

Understand... no pressure... I just wanted to set a goal of achieving higher rank in your Access hierarchy.

All right, I did a little tweaking to the algorithm, and I added more weight to how long you've been a student. Congratulations on the promotion, Raymond! You just made two-star admiral. I felt that the time as a student could be weighted a little heavier vs just the number of courses that you've purchased or completed, and you've been around since 2019, so you deserve it.

Now, for anyone else reading this: If you want to update your account, or see what your new rank might be with the new formula, you'll have to use the "Refresh Your Account" link on the very bottom of your My Account page. That normally only updates when you get a new class added to your account, or you place an order. It doesn't just automatically update. But that link will force it to refresh from the server.
